Affiliate terms

The Tabinos affiliate programme lets people and organisations earn commission by referring customers. It is free to join. You must be 18 or older and, if you apply as a business, registered in Ethiopia. We may decline an application, and we tell you why.

• Everything you give us must be true and yours: your name, date of birth, address, and your business and tax details.
• We verify your identity from your Fayda number or a government ID, and a business from its licence, registration and TIN. We may ask for more documents before deciding.
• Your link does not work until your application is approved. If we find information was false, we may reject or suspend you and withhold commission earned through it.

• Once approved you get a code and a link. A customer is yours if they create their account with your link or code.
• Each account belongs to one affiliate: the first one it signed up with. Later links do not move it.
• You cannot refer yourself, an account you control, or an account you created for someone else.
• Your code is yours alone and cannot be sold or transferred.

• You earn 10% of each payment a customer you referred makes (unless your dashboard shows a different agreed rate). The rate in force when a payment clears is the one that applies.
• Commission is earned only on payments that actually clear. Free plans and plans we grant without payment earn nothing.
• We check commission before it becomes payable. If a payment is refunded or charged back, the commission on it is reversed.

• We pay in Ethiopian birr, by hand, once your payable balance reaches 100 ETB.
• We pay only to a bank or mobile money account in your name (or your business's) that we have verified. Changing your details means verifying them again.
• Tax on what you earn is your responsibility. We may ask for your TIN before paying, and we may withhold tax where the law requires it.

To stay in the programme:

• Describe Tabinos honestly. Do not promise exam results, and do not claim to be us or to speak for the Ministry of Education or the exam authority.
• Do not spam, and do not send messages to people who have not agreed to hear from you.
• Do not ask for anyone's password, sign up or pay on someone's behalf to earn commission, or offer anything that breaks these rules.
• Respect students' privacy. You will not be told who your student customers are, and you must not try to find out.
• Follow the law, including consumer protection and advertising rules.

We may suspend or end your participation if you break these terms, and we will explain why. While suspended your link does not attribute new customers. Commission earned in good standing stays payable unless it came from fraud or a breach of these rules. You can leave the programme at any time by writing to contact@tabinos.com.

• What we keep: your identity, contact and address details, your business and tax details, your payout account, and the documents you upload.
• Why: to verify who you are, prevent fraud, pay you correctly and meet our legal and tax obligations. Nothing else.
• Who can see it: our verification team only. Documents are kept in private storage, opened one at a time, and every opening is recorded.
• How long: while you are an affiliate, and afterwards only as long as the law requires.
• Your rights: you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, subject to what the law requires us to keep, under Ethiopia's personal data protection law.

We may update these terms. The version date is at the top, and if a change affects what you earn we tell you before it applies. Continuing in the programme after that means you accept the change.
